- Describe the fundamental principles and concepts of security and risk management within an organisational context.
- Identify key strategic knowledge areas relevant to effective security and risk management practices.
- Apply basic risk assessment methodologies to identify and categorise security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Report on common security and risk management frameworks and standards, such as ISO 27001 and ISO 31000.
- Support the development of basic security policies and procedures in line with organisational objectives.
- Contribute to the implementation of risk mitigation strategies for identified security risks.
- Explain the role of relevant regulatory bodies and legislation, such as the Ghana Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), in shaping security and risk management practices.

Entry Requirements
Qualify through any one of these routes:
WASSCE / SSSCE / GCE O'Level (or equivalent) with credits in Mathematics, English, and at least one discipline-relevant subject.
At least 2 years of documented relevant industry experience, with employer reference and a portfolio of work evidence.
A certificate or diploma in a related discipline, subject to assessment of equivalence.
